Add one scoop (about 1.7–1.8 g) of matcha powder to the matcha bowl.

Pour hot water (about 80°C / 176°F) into the matcha bowl, filling it to about one-fifth of the bowl (approximately 60–70 ml).
Insert the whisk straight into the bowl and whisk briskly back and forth to create foam.

Once a fine, creamy foam forms, gently skim the surface with the whisk to remove any large bubbles, creating a smooth and silky finish.
